    • Isolation, preparation, and matrix of posterior composites

    • Posterior composite anatomy Treatment planning multi-tooth and multi-material cases

    • Indirect preps, cores, scanning, and impressions

  • Aesthetic dentistry is intended to build on the foundation of restorative dentistry taught in the posterior while also incorporating the detailed aesthetics that become important in the smile region.

    Some of the topics covered are:

    • Isolation, matrix, and restoration with composite

    • Layering anterior composites

    • Treatment planning indirects

    • Restoring badly damaged teeth and teeth with posts

  • The goal of the veneers module is to increase knowledge and comfort level with both composite and ceramic veneers.

    • Preparation types and choices

    • Planning, smile design, 3D design, and palatal stents
